My work friend whom I have kept in touch with for three years since moving away is finally expecting her 1st child (rainbow baby). I can’t say that anyone introduced me to babywearing… I kind of stumbled upon it and learned as I went along. My husband and I were alone away from family and friends (outside of work friends) when we started our family. I picked up a 2nd hand ssc carrier thinking it’d be more handy in the surburban lifestyle but then wanted to learn more. Then I found out about Wovens and have found local moms who are like minded to share the joys of babywearing with.
I have introduced my husband to babywearing. He loves wearing our son while we go on family walks or when we are out in the community.
